This is a one-day classroom based training course which will cover the following:

• Risk assessment and emergency planning
• How to secure the site for safe and effective working
• Potential environmental damage due to tree related emergencies
• Record keeping for management and legislative purposes
• How to prioritise emergencies, mobilise workforce and respond appropriately
• Potential hazards of working in different emergency situations
• Other agencies that could be required
• How to establish an efficient and effective communication system within the team and with other services on site
• Identifying utilities and understanding how they will impact the work
• Equipment required
• Post operational requirements
